Twos Classroom- Voyagers

Twos: Twos are learning independence, more sophisticated ways of communicating, logical consequences, routines, and beginning to build relationships with peers and other important adults. Teachers are focused on building trust and a strong relationship with each child. We use the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum which helps teachers by planning hands-on activities that scaffold their prior knowledge and empowers them with choices. practical, and concrete learning opportunities while giving the teacher the knowledge to know if the children are meeting their developmental needs or need more opportunities in certain areas.This curriculum is play based with many opportunities for toddlers to  explore the world around them. We take the kiddos outside up to 2 times a day based on the weather. Teachers use Conscious Discipline along with Green and Red Choices as a social- emotional curriculum to help build resilient and independent children.
